Aboriginal Youth Forum of Montreal

The Wapikoni is among the partners of the Aboriginal Youth Forum. This event is held on March 21st at the Montreal Science Center. 

This Forum, an intiative of the Montreal Native Community Development Center (MNCDC) and Quebec Native Women (QNW), invite the youth to make themselves heard on issues that affect them, in order to guide the actions to be taken by organizations as well as the government in those matters. 

The program includes :

  • Consultation, discussions and debates 
  • Consultation about early childhood
  • Networking Events
  • Lunch and supper provided
  • Panel on Aboriginal youth in Montreal
  • Election of the Youth Council of the MNCDC
  • Launch au the interactive map created by the NETWORK’s Youth Committee
  • Video contest winner by Corps et Territoire with Femmes Autochtones du Québec and Wapikoni Mobile
  • Aboriginal artists Show with KZO + Marie-Celine charron + Eadsé and Toombz, two singers you can discover on the website of Musique nomade, a professional music recording and video service offered to Quebec First Nation musicians.
