Vancouver Latin American Film Festival - 14th annual

The Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF) festival takes place annually in Vancouver, this year between August 25 and September 4, is a bridge between cultures and celebrates the art of contemporary Latin American and Latin-Canadian filmmaking.

For its 14th edition, the canadian indigenous directors also have their place, as evidenced by the presence of the film PEARL in the program, by Elisa Moar and Marie-Pierre Ottawa, both from Manawan, in the province of Quebec. These two young Atikamekws are going to present, their realization in the festival, an intimate portrait of a woman dreaming of the impossible, realized in 2013 with the Wapikoni Mobile.
