Gloria Morgan was born on June 16, 1954 in Enderby, BC, and is a member of the Secwepemc First Nation. With this film, she wanted to emphasize that it is up to Aunties to help pass on the culture to our younger family members. This is not Gloria’s first venture into the realm of media, she also wrote a story about Christmas, the recording of which was broadcast on CBC radio. In my second year of Law School, she made a half hour video called "Circle of Justice" which advocated for a system of Justice that would likely be better for her people.She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of British Columbia in 1994 and was called to the Bar in 1995. Gloria continues to serve on several Boards including Interior Patient Care Quality Review Board, Okanagan College Board of Governors, Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation Board, Enderby & District Curling Club Executive, and is the Aboriginal Liaison for the 2017 BC 55+ Games. Gloria is an avid golfer and curler.
