Lenny is an Atikamekw man who grew up in the same community as his grandparents: Opitciwan. When he was young, he dreamed of becoming a NHL player, and also a musician, just like his father. Unfortunately, death had other plans. When he lost his loved ones, he stopped playing guitar, writing lyrics, playing hockey and dropped out of school and spend two years in the basement of his house. Two years later, a neighbour gave him a drum machine. That’s how he discovered rap and soon started writing songs again, finding his voice, finding direction. In 2018, one of his dreams came true: He directed his first music video.
