Synopsis

With a keen eye for nostalgia and use of fragmented storytelling, Oqim Nicholas reminisces about his childhood and adolescence, while showcasing what remains of the natural environment. Augmenting images of the forest and rivers surrounding his home of Tobique First Nation with an original musical composition, Nicholas explores his past and reflects upon how changes in the natural environment, such as erosion along the Tobique riverbanks, mirror the changes one goes through as adulthood approaches.
