SARA TARPUY (Sowing maize)


Synopsis

Sowing is among the most important activities in the quechua communities. In this case, the sowing of corn converts in a ritual activity which unites and prones all families to collaborate together. Women, men and children participate to the sowing of the maize – the source of most livelihood and the main food supply in these communities.
